"I had been a regular since Rebecca was my stylist. Last year I was recommended to have a keratin treatment as I was told it would help control frizziness in my 3c curly hair and it would not affect my curl. I eventually booked in on 10 December last year and followed all the after care instructions. After a week my hair was still dead straight and I called and spoke to Nathan who did the treatment. He brought me in for a shampoo, took sone photos, and told me Christina would be in contact with me. No one called. For the next two months I battled with my now straight hair, and the curl is only just starting to come back now. I’ve just seen a hair stylist who specialises in curly hair, which will now be my regular stylist - he was aghast at what the testament did to my hair, he graded my curl as 3c before keratin to now a 2b. It’s going to take a long time for my hair to get back to what it was. I’m disappointed at the misleading information, the lack of communication afterwards that was promised and the lack of effort to rectify the problem. More than anything I’m devastated to have list my curls. I won’t be back. Edited after response: I stand by my review. It was pushed on me by Nathan and I was assured it would not affect the curl. He told me Christina would call me - she never did. So to say you didn’t hear from me therefore assumed I was happy is another misrepresentation of the facts. I also omitted the detail that Nathan didn’t do the treatment, he coached someone I’d never met before to do it (I assume an apprentice, I think her name was Louise). She told me my hair would be straight and when I said I didn’t want that, Nathan jumped in and contradicted her. Although she wound up being correct. I get you’re not curly hair specialists. Therefore it was grossly irresponsible for you to assure me the curls would be unaffected."

Christina thank you for your phone call and again offer of complimentary treatment. I would also like to clarify NO I was not told at the time of booking I would require 3 treatments. It wasn't until after my first appointment was completed and i ask why was my hair not the colour requested that Nathan advised I needed 2 more treatment, as he did not book me in he assumed I would have been advised that is understandable. I did make this clear to you on the phone and you acknowledge that the staff member had made a mistake. Thank you."

"I went in and asked was it possible to have a light ash hair highlights through my hair (my hair is quite dark brown so I looking for a very out there colour change). I was told yes we can do that for you very easily but may not be as ash white but certainly very close too. I was quoted starting price of $230 (I paid $250). I booked in that very day happy to pay that or around that price for the colour change. I have my hair colour done and when sitting in the chair having my hair dried off and could see my hair had a slight light brown highlight added, was no were near the ash white colour I requested. When asked why they then advised me I would need to come back 2 more times to get the final results. I was not told this to start with and would not spend $700+ for that colour. I would have changed my request for something more achievable in one treatment. I left the salon very appointed went home my husband didn't notice any change neither did my staff at work then next day( that's how much of a difference there was) . I decided to go back the next day and let the staff member know of my disappointment and that the colour we selected was not achievable in one go, you failed to advise me at the time of booking it would take 3 treatments. Her response was "sorry about that". I would not recommend this salon on the basis of just that comment "sorry about that" let alone misleading a customer."

"Wonderful experience with Nathan. He knows what he’s doing. He did an amazing job on my hair for sure because I had too much of different shades on my hair. I have very long hair so it was a lot of patience and hard work to get a positive outcome. I finally got an amazing hairdresser. I definitely recommend this place."
