About the Business
Welcome to St Paul's School, located at Bald Hills, Strathpine Road, 34 in Australia. We are proud to have been awarded the 2023 'Excellence Award' for Secondary School of the year - non-government, as well as Excellence in Innovation in Learning Environment Design.
At St Paul's, we prioritize the success of our students. Over 85% of our Year 12 cohort achieve their first or second preference for university entrance, which is an incredibly high result. Our students are equipped with practical skills and exceptional thinking abilities. They have the opportunity to obtain qualifications, start TAFE courses, and pursue apprenticeships even before finishing school. This sets them on a clear path towards a Diploma, the workforce, or an alternative pathway to university.
What sets St Paul's apart is our unique entrepreneurial pathway. We are one of the only schools in Australia to offer this third career pathway, where students can become CEOs while still in school and take their business ideas to market. We believe in fostering innovation and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit in our students.
Our approach to learning, called Realms of Thinking, is pioneering and effective. It helps students master the basics while also developing their capacity to ask better questions, navigate challenges, develop empathy, and spark their imagination. We believe in holistic education that goes beyond academic excellence.
Student wellbeing is a priority at St Paul's. We have developed a unique student wellbeing program called Ways of Being, which focuses on character development. Our St Paul's Character Framework comprises ten virtues that all members of our community are encouraged to demonstrate. We also have a Global Citizenship program that recognizes and rewards students' achievements in various areas such as academics, sports, creative activities, and outdoor education.
We are thrilled to introduce the Accelerating Change podcast, hosted by our Headmaster, Dr Paul Browning. In this podcast, Dr Browning interviews special guests to explore their perspectives on how the world is changing and what is causing these advances in technology, employment, and socioeconomics to occur at an accelerated rate. You can watch or listen to Season 2 of the podcast on our Accelerating Change website.
At St Paul's, we strive to provide an education worth having. We aim to prepare resilient global citizens who are innovative thinkers and have a heart for servant leadership. Our focus on innovation and preparing students for the future is evident in our recent launch of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as part of our continued commitment to innovation in education.
Whether it's helping parents navigate the challenges of raising children, providing nutritious school lunches, or celebrating events like Book Week, we are dedicated to supporting our students and their families. We are an Anglican co-educational school from Pre-Prep to Year 12, operated by the Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane.
Come and join our vibrant community at St Paul's School, where we nurture the potential of every student and prepare them for a bright future.

"Amazing structures, equipment, and facilities for students to use, as well as occasionally highly engaging teaching strategies. However, there are still a lot of issues at the school, such as the recent vaping issues and occasionally... students can be…. hectic. I have seen that the teachers also appear to be unaware of how various individuals learn and think. For instance, I've known several children with autism, and the staff treats these children same with everyone else, which is utterly unfair. The "No hat, no food" policy raises another troubling issue because it essentially says that you can't buy food without a hat, which is absurd. Additionally, there is not enough student representation because anytime students have a problem with other staff members, it is usually sidelined or punished."
"its ok but the school has a bit of a vaping and chewing gum problem"
"Great school, great staff, great parents, and great facilities. Worth reading about their teaching approach and school philosophy."
"All three of me and my siblings have gone here and absolutely loved it. There are so many opportunities for everyone, including many academic opportunities, and extracurricular such as music and sport. The school grounds are wonderful and the teachers all work to build positive and strong connections and memories for every student. This school really makes a positive difference to the community and the students"
"This is a great place for education and learning I have been going to St Paul’s for 8 years now and it has been the best 8 years of my life. This is an amazing co-educational school which focuses on more then just getting straight A’s. They have an IT centre many instruments and even a wood cutting and designing centre. If your child likes to dance there is a dance centre called Dance Direction Queensland located on premises. And if you can’t pick up your child right away there is a YMCA on campus or the train station not too far away. This school is the most amazing school for your child to attend I definitely recommend."
