Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Brighton! We have been an integral part of the Brighton community for over 24 years and have recently undergone extensive refurbishment to provide the best possible learning environment for your child.

At Sparrow Early Learning, we believe in providing high-quality programs that focus on the interests and abilities of each child. Our dedicated educators are not just professionals, but also a part of our center family. Many of them have attended our center themselves as children and have been with us for over 5 years. In fact, we have 4 team members who have celebrated 10 years of service with us!

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on natural elements and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and tailor our programs to meet their individual needs and interests.

Our indoor learning spaces are designed to feel just like home, filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are open-ended, allowing children to follow their interests, use their imagination, and engage in social interactions with their peers and educators.

Outside, our well-resourced and shaded outdoor spaces provide limitless opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play. Children can enjoy open green areas, climbing equipment, a sandpit, swings, bikes, and our beautiful tee-pee.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Sam Evans, your Service Manager at Sparrow Brighton. With 19 years of experience in early childhood education, I am extremely passionate about providing the highest quality care for all the children in our center. I love going on their learning journey, watching them learn and grow through play-based learning opportunities. You will often find me having dance parties with the children, taking them on bear hunts around the playground, and playing games that bring out their special tricks.

I believe that learning is a two-way process, and I learn just as much from the children as I teach them. Their wonder and curiosity about the world around them is what drew me to this career, and I am a strong advocate for the children in our care. Building positive relationships with the children, families, and educators is something I take great pride in, so please feel free to approach me with any questions or concerns.

At Sparrow Early Learning, we follow the Sparrow Way, which combines proven international early learning methods to create a unique practice designed for today's society. Guided by the principles of Reggio Emilia and underpinned by The Early Years Framework for Australia, we create an environment where children can explore, discover, and invent solutions.

We have an open-door policy, allowing families to visit and walk through our center at any time during operational hours. Once you have completed a tour, you will receive an enrollment pack with all the necessary paperwork. Our orientation process is tailored to meet the needs of each family and ensures a smooth transition into our early learning childcare.
