At our Gaythorne child care centre, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Our three spacious and grassy outdoor play areas are filled with beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade. Children can explore, climb, and run on our sandpits and climbing frames. Younger children have their own separate play area where they can play confidently.

We are dedicated to offering rich educational programs that support the development and growth of children. Our centre acts as an extension of the home, and we strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both children and families. Additionally, we maintain strong connections within the community through our centre programs. Our literacy-enriched program is further enhanced by our collaboration with the local library, and we have established strong ties with local schools to ensure a successful transition for children in our Kindergarten program.

Our team at Mother Duck Gaythorne is led by Miss Mel, who has been in the childcare industry since 2000 and joined our team in 2016. With an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services, Miss Mel is a passionate advocate for the rights of children and works tirelessly to create a home away from home for children, families, and educators.

Miss Keisha, who started as an assistant educator at Mother Duck Gaythorne in 2009, is another valuable member of our team. She strongly believes in respecting, loving, and caring for children the way we would care for our elderly parents. As a mother of two daughters who both attended our centre, Miss Keisha brings a deep understanding of the needs of families and children.

Miss Jasmyne, who joined us in 2019, holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Her beautiful relationships with all families and children within the centre make her an invaluable part of our team.

Miss Ashley, who has been with Mother Duck Childcare since 2016, recently completed her Bachelor of Education in 2022. Previously an Early Childhood Teacher, she now serves as our Pedagogical Coordinator and is passionate about delivering quality education for all children.
