Welcome to Ashgrove West Kindy! Located in Ashgrove on Waterworks Road, our community kindergarten has been providing a quality learning environment for preschool children for over 80 years. We understand that your child's transition and readiness for school is a crucial phase of their early education, and we are here to support them every step of the way.

At Ashgrove West Kindy, we focus on children learning through play, and we are dedicated to meeting each child's individual needs. With limited class sizes of 22 children, your child will always receive the attention and support they need to thrive. Our goal is to foster a love of learning in a secure, child-centered environment where each child can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

We understand the challenges of juggling busy schedules, which is why we offer flexibility for you and your child. As the first Community Kindy in our local area to offer Vacation Care, as well as Before and After Hours Care, we aim to make it easier for families to balance their commitments.

You'll love the wide range of class options available at Ashgrove West Kindy. Choose from a five-day fortnight, three days per week, or two days per week with longer hours. We also offer before hours care from 7.15am and after hours care until 5.30pm.

Our preschool is not-for-profit and has an Overall Rating of Meeting under the National Quality Framework. Conveniently located opposite Ashgrove State School, we serve families from Ashgrove, Paddington, Bardon, The Gap, Red Hill, and surrounding suburbs. Our kindy is set in large, beautiful, natural grounds with spacious classrooms. Each class is led by University qualified Early Childhood Teachers and qualified Assistants with extensive experience teaching pre-prep aged children.
