With a seamless transition process, many of our educators continue to support and guide our little explorers as they embark on their journey at Journey Lucas.

We understand the importance of school transition, and our focus is to ensure a smooth process for every child. By providing a safe and secure environment, we help our children develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self, preparing them for the school journey ahead. Our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed to align with the Journey Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and Curriculum, ensuring that every child is well-prepared for school. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are led by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolled in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program receive ongoing support from our teachers through our School Readiness Program.

With 13 years of experience in the Early Childhood Sector and a Diploma in Children’s Services, I am passionate about creating attachments and building relationships with children. I believe in seeing children as competent and capable individuals in their world. Working in partnership with families, we strive to ensure that every family feels valued, respected, and at home at Journey Dakabin.

At Journey Dakabin, we recognize the importance of nature-based play. Our curriculum incorporates outdoor play, as it teaches children vital life skills such as confidence, independence, exploration, and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health, wellbeing, and respect for the environment.
