Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs! Located at 173 College Road, our beautiful 67 place centre offers a nurturing and inspiring environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. With four Reggio Emilia inspired rooms, we cater to the individual needs and developmental stages of each child.

In our infant's room, we have resources placed low to the ground, such as mirrors, to support your baby's development and growing curiosity. Our toddler and Pre Kindy rooms feature resources at a higher level, encouraging open-ended and loose-parts play. And our Kindergarten environment is tailored to support children in their transition to prep.

Situated in a quiet street amongst local shops and a golf course, our centre provides a sense of belonging for each child and their family within our Sparrow family. Our passionate Educators are dedicated to creating a unique environment where children can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

As the Service Manager, I have over 23 years of experience in the childcare industry. My aim is to make a difference in children's lives by providing quality education and care. I believe in forming long-lasting relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of community that extends beyond a child's time in our care.

At Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs, we prioritize the development of social and emotional skills that will last a lifetime. We understand the impact that early childhood education can have on a child's development, and we are honored to play a part in educating our future leaders.

With my own five children, I strive to provide the best care possible for all children at our centre. We offer a warm and welcoming environment where families are encouraged to actively participate in their child's care. From the moment you walk through our door, we are here to listen and support you in any way we can.

Our approach, known as the Sparrow Way, combines proven international early learning methods, such as the principles of Reggio Emilia, with the Early Years Framework for Australia. We embrace children's inherent abilities to learn and develop, creating an environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and invention.

We have an open-door policy, allowing families to visit and walk through our centre at any time during operational hours. After completing a tour, families will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork. Our orientation process is personalized to meet each family's needs and ensure a smooth transition into our early learning childcare.
