Welcome to Beerwah & District Kindergarten Association Inc., a highly regarded establishment located in the heart of Beerwah, Australia. As a community-based, not-for-profit organization, we take pride in offering a nurturing and educational experience for children in the year before they attend Prep.

Affiliated with Lady Gowrie Community Kindergarten, we have been providing high-quality early childhood education and care for over fifty years. Our kindergarten program is centered around a play-based environment, where children can learn, grow, and unite with their families.

At Beerwah & District Kindergarten, we prioritize the development of each child's lifelong love for learning. Our team of university qualified teachers ensures that every child reaches their potential and acquires the necessary skills for a smooth transition to formal schooling and later life. In fact, we have been rated as "EXCEEDING" in all seven areas of the National Quality Standard by the QLD Government.

Our kindy programs operate for 15 hours a week, 40 weeks per year, providing a comprehensive educational experience. We offer two kindy groups: the Cockatoo Group, which runs on Monday, Tuesday, and every alternative Wednesday, or the Kookaburra Group, which runs on Thursday, Friday, and every alternative Wednesday.

Enrolling your child in our kindy program is simple. Just fill out a waiting list application online and pay a $10 non-refundable fee. Our Kindergarten is approved to care for children aged 3 to school age, with the requirement that children turn 4 years by or on 30 June of the attending year.

As an affiliated organization of The Gowrie (QLD) Inc, a non-profit early childhood organization, we value the support and involvement of all families in the running of our center. We provide all necessary forms, paperwork, and useful links in one convenient spot on our website.
