About the Business
Welcome to The Surf Club, located at Woorim, First Avenue, 2 in Australia. Our establishment offers a unique experience as a food and point of interest destination, with stunning ocean views adding to the relaxed dining atmosphere.
The Surf Club Bistro is the perfect place to party on Bribie Island. As the Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club, we have been patrolling Woorim Beach since December 1923. Through the success of our Supporters Club, we are able to fund the continuation of volunteer surf lifesaving on Bribie Island, ensuring the safety of our beach for everyone to enjoy.
Our commitment to providing the best in food and service for our members, guests, and visitors enables us to provide the financial support our volunteers need. We are dedicated to the success of both our licensed and active club, working autonomously towards our goal of keeping our beach safe.
Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean off Moreton Island on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, The Surf Club offers a beautiful setting that attracts visitors throughout the day. Established in 1922, we are proud to be one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a grassroots feel, focusing on exceptional service, delicious meals, and value for money. This commitment has earned us an admirable reputation that extends from Cairns to Tasmania and beyond.
If you would like to support surf lifesaving on Bribie Island, you can make a donation to our cause. Your contribution will help us continue our important work in keeping our beach safe.

"Excellent food enjoyed by all of our group of eight - with six different menu choices. Good value and great accommodating service. Not the first time we’ve visited, and certainly won’t be the last. A big tick from us ☑️"
"A good club for a meal overlooking the ocean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking outside. You can see the area patrolled by the life guards from your table inside the club. The club also has a lit of interesting memorabilia."
"The location and the views were amazing. However, the food was disappointing and not worth what you’re paying for. The pasta was basic and there was not much flavour. The schnitzel seem like a supermarket schnitzel and so oily. For such an amazing location I’m sure you could find a chef who could do so much better. What I noticed is lack of interest to serve great food."
"We had a lovely lunch here. Overall the food was good, but I don't recommend the Kilpatrick oysters, something about them didn't sit right. They had a good quality veggie burger for the vegetarian in our group, so we were happy there was that option on the menu. Overall we had a good experience, we would eat here again. Thanks!"
