Our pre-purchase vehicle inspections are comprehensive and thorough. They include jacking up the vehicle, a test drive, a safety check, and a written report with detailed photos of the vehicle during the inspection. To ensure a proper view of critical components like the chassis rails, lower gearbox, and engine for any oil leaks, we also remove the lower engine cover or stone guard.

When purchasing a used vehicle, we strongly recommend that the seller provides a RWC certificate. This helps ensure that the vehicle meets the necessary standards. Without this certificate, there is a risk of the mechanic performing the RWC inspection failing certain items that you may believe would pass. Our pre-purchase inspection is not a RWC inspection, and it is essential to conduct a visual inspection of the vehicle at the point of sale. The report we provide is only current at the time of issuance and should not be considered a roadworthy certificate.

Please note that we do not check for manufacturer recall notices, but we strongly advise you to check if the vehicle is subject to any recalls, especially the airbag recall. It is your responsibility as a buyer to make informed decisions based on your own investigations and inquiries.

For 4x4 vehicles, we cannot guarantee the detection of chassis inconsistencies, as only a measurement protocol at a chassis specialist can identify such issues.

It is important to understand that our inspections are visual and non-mechanical. While we strive to identify all visible defects, we cannot be held responsible for defects that are latently discovered and not visually apparent during the inspection. Additionally, during test drives, we may be restricted to the speed limit of the area, making it impossible to reach higher speeds.

Lastly, please be aware that some transmissions do not have dipsticks to check fluid levels or condition, and certain car manufacturers use continuously variable transmissions (CVT), which have different drivability characteristics. We recommend researching these transmissions to understand their unique features.

If the vehicle being inspected is noted as dirty, it can be challenging to identify paint imperfections.
