"Excellent service and trip. I was out in the Mornington Peninsula and had the perfect trip home on the ferry. Rather than getting stuck in traffic on the freeways to go around the bay. Worth every dollar. Relaxing and quicker travel."
"Something desperately needs to be done with traffic management at the Sorrento end - I know there is works being done at the terminal but the chaos on Sunday afternoon was horrendus. Cars queued for almost a kilometre waiting to turn right from Point Nepean Road and all the way up the hill in the opposite direction. With the splitter island and keep left sign just up the hill no where for people, particularly with boat trailers behind to pass the queued traffic without having to mount the island. In the queue for an hour was not a pleasant experience which could have been helped if more than one lane was open at the ticket box. Once on the ferry the trip was hassle free and unloading at Queenscliff was a breeze."
"Such a great experience. Takes 40 minutes to go to the Queenscliff in the ferry. Tickets are cheaper but if you are taking your car with you then it will cost you extra 60$. Concessions are also available. Head online for the tickets and save the time."
"We took the ferry yesterday after booking online, the boarding and disembarking was quick and easy."
"You can get a ticket online and save $5. The ferry leaves every hour from Sorrento. In my case, I got a ticket through a window and was directed to the queue once ticketing was done. Very friendly staffs at the terminal. And,They start boarding 15 minutes prior the hour mark so ensure you don’t roam around longer. Once you’re in vessel, feel free to roam around."
