"This company is a fraud. It is holding my funds and not passing on to my business and giving me the reason that your account has not pass the verification process. If it did not pass the verification process how could you hold my funds and refused to pass on to my business. I have emailed few times, tried to chat via website. Absolutely, retarded. I have the proof of emails if anyone wants to have I can provide these things. My business is Accounting & Taxation which is highly regulated industry."

"Do not use! We opted for this service as one of 3 offered by Xero (like many other reviews on here it seems) - we have regretted every minute. Our account was created successfully - or so we thought as we recieved emails advising same. Client paid and the all of a sudden a day later - we recieved an email advising that our account was being closed and we would no longer have access to anything. No reason at all - convenient for them right - not for us or the client. Funds are still currently with gocardless in their ‘holding account’. As per gocardless instructions - we had to get our client to go to the bank to request the funds back …. & the bank advised her there was not much they could do. They are essentially stealing money and making it near impossible to get back. They should not be allowed to take money from our clients if the account is not fully verified - AND if all merchants should have the ability to refund funds back to their clients if their account is being closed (all of a sudden). It’s just not legal! Lucky for us that our client was willing to assist in the process of trying to get the funds back - if not gocardless would have money that is not theirs! Please don’t use. When we tried to get in contact with gocardless a man answered and was cold & blunt and advised to call another time. Is this a one man scam show? Seriously they should be shut down before too many others are scammed their hard earned money."

"Do not use this service! I paid a supplier using GoCardless, they took the money out of my account(a few thousand $$'s) then closed the suppliers account, so still held the money. They said I had to lodge a dispute with my bank to get the money back! I'm currently waiting 7 days for the dispute to go through, meanwhile neither I or the supplier have the money. Very poor and unprofessional."

"Horrible to use. I've set up direct debit auto withdrawal, and there's no approval process on every withdraws. There's also no where to CANCEL the authorisation. Meaning that this app is leaving me vulnerable for other parties to automatically withdraw funds from my account as much as they wish. And in the meantime I'll have to wait for their super slow customer support. Also very slow in transaction and responses. And not confirmation on whether the funds are being withdrawn, so we ended up paying twice because we didn't know if this service actually paid anything. (Later we checked bank transactions and GoCarless has took the money out of our account 2 days after the request, without any notification)."
