In the case of this particular Hilux model, 4 inches is a safe and effective adjustment that levels the car without requiring any modifications to the front suspension.

To ensure added safety and stability, we completely removed the bump stops and replaced them with 5mm thick rubber sourced from Clark Rubber. Although this was a precautionary measure, it's worth noting that the vehicle has not bottomed out since the modification. If we were to undertake this project again, we might consider going slightly lower, around 4.5-5 inches. However, it's important to exercise caution as lowering the vehicle beyond this point can potentially pose risks. Based on our current setup, we believe that going a bit lower should still be manageable.
