"We walked the 3 km circuit plus walking into and out of the circuit ... around 4 km . All up a 2 hour walk, I also had asthma which didn't help. But we caught a magnificent t Sunset. Cheers"
"Always want to go hiking to this mountain, finally after years, climb up high, alot of people going for bush walk and climbing the mountain, very nice spot and supported by nice weather, not so hot neither cold, good for family gate away too, taking the kids for walk and picnic with amazing views."
"There are so many walks available, some for experienced climbers & others for weekend walkers. These mountains are amazing"
"I highly recommend to go the Trachyte Track to Jack Ferris Lookout and then the Yul-Yan-Man Track. I planned to go to the Tibrogargan summit but because of controlled burning of bushes around this mountain this track was closed (they do this every Winter to reduce the risk of bush fires throughout the hot months). But this alternative route was great as well, with some wonderful views over the nationalpark with its mountain peaks. From the Yul-Yan-Man Track I even was able to see some of the higher buildings of Brisbanes skyline which is about 60km afar! Do not let the signs at the beginning of that track intimidate you, I did it without being a "professional bush walker" and without any special equipment. Yes, there are some steep climbing sections, but this is rather fun than being difficult. Definitely worth a day trip!"
"Wonderful national park, lots of fun trails to do although some are quite steep. We did the Yul Yan man Loop and loved it. Some fairly straight forward scrambling but made it more of an adventure. Lovely views."
