"Terrible service!! I am an injured professional Firefighter and I have had a terrible experience with Gallagher Basset. You have to continually pressure them to process reimbursement before they actually do, when they do finally pay you it isn’t in full and they miss a lot of invoices which makes it really hard to keep track of. I have been struck with money flow problems several times due to their inability to do their job!! I almost had to miss some medical appointments in fear I wouldn’t be able to pay them while I wait for previous costs to be reimbursed within their “10 day” policy. They rarely respond to email, they do not actively make contact or support you through the process. They expect you to figure out how it works and then do their job for them. There are major systematic/procedural and cultural problems within Gallagher Basset. Unfortunately after talking to other colleagues this seems to be the standard experience with Gallagher Basset. I would not recommend using them!"
"Lack of communication. I may have received my payments but was after months of multiple calls and emails regarding my situation. Felt like they simply did not care about my condition and weren’t listening to a thing I was saying. I got on top of my physical condition but not so much mentally. There’s a reason why they’re only 2 stars. Not good at all."
"If for some reason you have to deal with these people I would suggest speaking with a lawyer, there focus is on back to work, they couldn't care less about recovery. And if you need to pay for something, don't expect reimbursement anytime soon. Been waiting on reimbursement for things from last November, now on top of my physical injury I am suffering from mental issues."
