"Went for breakfast after about a year since last visit. Enjoyed the coffee, but everything else was a real disappointment. Brekky roll underwhelming and very oily, poached eggs overcooked and rubbery, scrambled eggs undercooked and bacon overcooked. Kids serving of French toast was half a slice of toast, a very small meal! Used to love the food and service in years gone by. Not likely to return again any time soon unfortunately."

"Four Figs has unfortunately lost its touch. As always great coffee - but food is now terrible. “Poached” eggs that were hard boiled, gummy and mushy hash brown, and pasta swimming in oil. Ate less than half of one meal and barely touched the other. Passed this knowledge on to the front of house staff and was still charged full price for both meals. I’ve never liked being a person who complains but this warranted some honest feedback."

"Table for 5 . Prior booking. Service slow but food fine. Had to physically go ask for coffee order to be taken. Coffee not overly hot..pretty ordinary. Paid bill (surcharge to use card) & on receipt noticed charge for relish which I didn't have. Told they were unable to refund. Their mistake, not mine. I then asked that that amount be simply taken off companions Bill. Couldn't do that either. Lessen learned.... Check bill items before payment. Grrr!!"

"Came here with a friend after a walk for coffee. Friend decided on eggs on toast while I had a blueberry muffin. Food was good but would be great if my muffin came with butter. Was not as fluffy as it looks. We had a cappuccino and mocha. Not too bad. The ambience of this cafe was very good. Inside seats are cosy and comfortable. The outside is breezy and bright. Oh not to mention the menu is all day meaning breakfast anytime till they close."
