"Visited the first time and probably the last. Both Double espresso and skinny latte were burnt coffee, even the warm milk couldn't cover the taste. Egg Benny was very average with fridge cold ham and no runny yolks. Waffles were also cold and hard. Unsure if it was just unlucky to have a different chef / staff. Staff at cashier and floor were ok friendly but not attentive, even it wasn't busy at all. Quite an upset experience especially when the rating is high."
"The biggest problem that I noticed at the Shine Cafe was that none of the staff greet or welcome you. None seemed to smile at any of the customers while I was there with my friend. Not sure whether it was a symptom of a stressful work environment or something else. But they must deal with it because that reflected in their service too, which seemed indifferent. Food was good. Although they should look at offering more options for vegetarians. Coffee was good too. I will visit again sometime to see if I was reading the mood correctly."
