"I recently had the unfortunate experience of having some of my belongings stolen during my stay at Dandenong Central Apartments. I am deeply disappointed with the way the situation was handled by the management. After reporting the theft, I received a response from the hotel stating that they trust their housekeeping staff and wishing me "best of luck." This response fell far short of my expectations, as it dismissively implied that the theft was somehow my own fault or a result of my misjudgement. The fact that my belongings were stolen raises serious concerns about the hotel's security measures and the safety of its guests. Unfortunately, the management's response showed a lack of accountability and failed to acknowledge the gravity of the situation. While I understand that incidents can occur in any establishment, it is the response and actions taken by the hotel that truly define their commitment to guest satisfaction. In this case, the response fell short, leaving me deeply disappointed and questioning whether I can trust this hotel in the future. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the management of Central Apartment Group and encourages them to reevaluate their approach to guest security and customer service."
"Have sent multiple emails to the hotel we stayed at and “head office” after being lied to, costing us hundreds of dollars and the hotel manager blaming everyone but himself for the situation My pregnant wife and I stayed in a room full of mould (Oceanside Mackay) left the property after the first night after being advised we would receive a refund within 24h. The hotel manager now says he never offered a refund (and won’t show me the camera footage that apparently has sound to confirm his lie) Not one phone call or email from the property or any of the two emails listed for Central Aprtment group themselves . Not even remotely good enough. I will be escalating this issue to the ACCC and Worksafe QLD unless I get a response and my refund in the next few days."
