Welcome to Fitzroy Legal Service, Australia's first non-Aboriginal community legal centre! Established on 18 December 1972, our institution has been providing free legal advice to all individuals in need. Located in the basement of the historic Fitzroy Town Hall, in the vibrant suburb of Fitzroy, Melbourne, we have been dedicated to serving our community for decades.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our services. They generously give their time and expertise to ensure that everyone has access to justice.
