"Carrie & Richard ...what an excellent team at Place Real Estate Karalee & Karana Downs! We made a successful offer (subject to the sale of our Riverview house) on a Karalee house which Place had listed for sale. At the time of our offer we were in Dubbo NSW. What made this possible was Carrie's EXCELLENT communication between us and the seller. Does Carrie ever sleep? We did that deal late Sunday evening. We then high-tailed it back home from Dubbo inspected the inside of the house we'd just contracted to purchase and were pleased to see that it exceeded our expectations. Carrie had conveyed to us an accurate portrail of its condition and appearance. We now had less than 30 days to get a contract on our Riverview house. It seemed to us that Place Real Estate dealt mainly with high-end million dollar properties in the prestegous suburbs of Karalee and Karana Downs. Therefore we intended to place the sale of our Riverview house with a local realestate agent ...that is until we sat with Carrie and Richard and heard their sales strategy for our Riverview house which was, we thought, going to sell for a market entry-level price. Their strategy was to sell to the Brisbane market ...not the local Ipswich market. We decided there and then to go with their strategy. The result was: *Five days to prepare our house for advertising photos. *Listed and advertised Tuesday evening with home open the following Saturday. *Over 50 people at the home open (23 buying groups) with three agents (Carrie, Richard & Matt) working hard for 40 minutes to show each individual group through. It wasn't a free for all ...very well organised. *Twelve buyers indicated their intention to place an offer. They were all told offers must be in by midday Sunday as the owners (us) had a pending linked contract dependent on this contract. *Eight of the offers were in by midday one of which was a cash offer which we accepted. *In summary - from listing for sale to contract gone 'unconditional' took 10 days ...all credit to Carrie and Richard's marketing strategy which worked precicely as they had explained to us.
