"Worst sushi I've ever had. Food quality is horrible. Chicken was like a cheap fatty Coles chicken that was left on the floor for 3 days. I've never been able to not finish a sushi roll. Gave the rest go my dog and I'm surprised she ate it. Seriously needs to improve food quality before they go out of business."

"Sushi Mate Kippa-Ring is a decent sushi eatery. It is definitely the better sushi place that I have discovered on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Avocado sushi roll and a terriyaki chicken sushi roll tasted fresh and had a good flavour. Karaage chicken was tender and crispy. I found the udon noodle soup a little too sweet and prawn batter too soggy. Salmon Aburi and Spicy Chicken had a nice flavour. Service was good but waiting time always seems to be a little long for hot meals. Atmosphere is ok considering the seating is located in the middle of a shopping centre. Sushi Mate always appears very clean and tidy. Overall, I've had a pleasant experience at Sushi Mate."
