"Very helpful at check-in. Good room, great size and great location (walking distance to Emporium & James St) channel selection on Foxtel was good. Bathroom was clean and didn't have any weird stains or smells. Great availability for under cover parking."
"Ok hotel. Functional if you have business in the valley. Would've chosen a nicer place for holiday or longer stay. Tv and cabling a write-off, total mess. Bed fine but nothing exceptional. Basic air-con that thankfully had a quiet mode, not sure what it would be like in mid summer on full flow."
"I have stayed at this accommodation previously in the past and had reasonable feedback but my experience this weekend was unsatisfactory. I am disputing two matters; #1 - wifi not working #2 - power outage (3 hours) #3 - only one chair on the balcony Firstly we received a noise complaint, was advised by the lady about the no party policy etc, which was reasonable. We keep the noise down to a minimum. Roughly an hour later the power had gone out. Assuming the power was throughout the whole hotel I did not check the hallway for any other guests going through the same matter. I was with my family and the outage lasted an hour and a half, my guests were using their flash lights on their phones to get around the room which was very frustrating. I had called the after hours number and let them him know about the power outage, was advised to check the safety box just outside the room which I did. All the switches were turned on and nothing had happened. Maintenance had come up to the room and told us about the number of guests in the room, I let them know they are not staying for the night just for the company. The lady and gentlemen said they will get onto the power as soon as possible. The power had come on roughly half an hour later, which total to 3 hours with no power. Secondly, the wifi was not working. When I checked in the receptionist wrote down the code for the wifi. The wifi did connect but did not secure a connection to the internet. Again my experience with my family was not good enough and very disappointing. Seemed convenient the power had gone out to my room after we received the noise complaint. Followed by the wifi not working. Also the balcony had only one chair, I had requested an extra with the lady at reception which was given. Thank you for that"
"The water was hot (no cold water, even when refilling the toilet) and not drinkable as smelled and tasted like mud. The room also smelled muddy. Road noise was bad and not lessened from the door being closed. Not a pleasurable experience other than the air conditioning."
"The pool was great. Staff friendly. Rooms were clean. Parking was accessible. Last of all. We dealt with Gilly. She was brilliant. Knew her stuff. Easy city staying!"
