"Really convenient location if you're staying overnight on the Valley. Well appointed with everything you need for a short stay. 500m from Brunswick St Mall. Google maps is pretty useless at telling you where it is if you need to pull in and park. Best to turn into Martin St and turn left into the first driveway. There is free 2 hr parking for people using the area (there's a few shops in the downstairs area). Pull in, check in, then get the concierge give you a room key to access the secure parking for hotel patrons. The place could use a little attention to detail. Bathroom needs some TLC and a little more effort with the cleaning. Overall tho, not a bad little spot to crash if you're wanting to be in amongst the action. **glass is not double glazed so lots of street noise We booked via the Web and there was no staff to check us in which was not advised on the booking site. This building is residential as well as hotel style, if you get lost/confused without reception there is a call phone on the front door. Or wait for a tenant."
"Liked the location, parking after hours check in via key in safe, and that's it. The room was dirty. The sheets were stained. A for was taking apart as hinge was completely off the wall. Towel rail broken. The cushions of the sofa was ripped and turned to the sunny way. Liked the cleaner didn't care of did their job at all. Spoke to the receptionist, didn't really acknowledge the issue, didn't apologise and only days the cleaner should be coming later this week. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Have photos to prove these issues. Never, ever going back."
"Pros: City central- About a 15minute walk to the river and bridges Welcoming staff- Jade is a lovely girl to talk to and will do her best to assist you in any reasonable request. Early check-in- I arrived at the hotel about 09:00ish and was given a room within an hour despite the actual check-in being around midday. Washing machine and dryer Close to good restaurants & bars Cons: Large amount of homeless addicts sleeping around the premises especially the open areas like the downstairs bar. The photos of the rooms are misleading- My room looked like it hadn't been dusted, re-carpeted or refurbished since the 80's. The bathroom was definitely not modern, The shower's water pressure was almost non existent and the water temperature would run between freezing cold and scalding in a neutral setting."
"Good location, pubs and restaurants just around the corner, WIFI very good. Due to the hospitality it is quite noisy even after midnight. Reception only limited time available."
"Check in was simple even though we were checking in outside of reception hours. Our room was clean and styled nicely. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the fact that the soaps, tea, etc were sourced from local Australian companies. It was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great with lots of local restaurants and shops just outside in the same complex or a short walk away. Parking was easily accessible."
