"Please understand the parameters. This is a training college. Some minor errors will be made. Forgiving this. Everyone, needs to have a start in the career. Here is a great example of trainers guiding the next generation of hospitality professionals. The food was as good as many restaurants I have dined in. I will be returning, as a guest to support the student and their learning."
"Average food, drinks and service. Staff very friendly but due to them learning how to wait on tables things do get missed and forgotten. I would however return in the future to try a different menu."
"I wasn't sure what to expect from our planned dinner at the Angliss restaurant at William Angliss College. Right from the very first moment of arriving it was a fun experience. The Angliss restaurant is a training restaurant for the culinary leaders of the future. Staffed entirely by students there is a certain buzz in the air as the students work hard to put their learnings to practice under the eagle eye of their teachers. Each table has an assigned waiter who ensures that your dining experience will be good. The high diner-to-waiter ratio might be a little intimidating for some but it ensures that you get very attentive service. The menu is select but includes some very tempting dishes such as salmon and scallops for entree, steak and barramundi four main and some delicious options for dessert. The wine list is excellent and there is a selection of very good cocktails on offer I tried the old fashioned which is probably one of the best old fashioneds I have had in Melbourne. It's definitely worth a try for something different. Bookings are essential. And you are sure to be surprised by the excellent value for money. Congratulations to William Angliss for providing such a unique experience right in the heart of Melbourne."
"We had the buffet lunch here, and the food was delicious. The service was exceptional, from the table service to the chefs preparing the different meals. It was daunting at first seeing all the students lined up against the wall all around the restaurant, but it must be a great experience for them as they train for hospitality and food preparation. I highly recommend this experience."
