"We stayed here over a long weekend, luckily we were out of the house most of the day as there was mould growing in the main bedroom. Other issues were the house was dirty and dusty which sparked allergies amongst the group, there was a swarn of bugs living in one of the window sills, a dirty cotton bud left on a bedside table, there was a spider on one of the bed sheets. We also felt like our privacy was invaded given the owners also live on site and regularly come up to the property. We swept the floors when we left the home and uncovered old popcorn and sultanas from a previous visitor. Also note that we were charged an extra cleaning of $90 (and paid it even though we disputed this) for leaving a handful of beer cans in the fridge and for an apparant stain on a tiled floor. Dissappointed with the accommodation as would advise others to look elsewhere however we didnt let this experience our annual girlfriend trip away. I do wish we took photos of departure because we did not leave this house in an untidy manner, and apologies for leaving beer in the fridge, it was meant to be a gift."
"House was uncleaned on arrival, black mould in almost every room to the point it was unhealthy for a allergy sufferer, house had a dirty smell to It, bed sheet smelt like urine, spiders in beds, dirty cotton buds left on side tables in rooms, owner live right next door and creep around the home whilst guest staying there, not the nicest people. Wouldn’t recommend…. Only saying exactly how it was.. not because the owner decided to charge the $90 cleaning fee that was totally inappropriate, but only passing on the feedback to help other guest avoid disappointment or for the owners to strictly go through and do a thorough clean and mould removal"
"Beautiful garden , my son had his wedding ceremony here. Unfortunately the owners were quite difficult to deal with."
"Booked the house to arrive and find that the owner locked the fourth bedroom and games room from us. Light switchers are ridelous, lounges are old and uncomfortable. Movie selection, games and books are limited so bring your own. Not enough toilet paper supplied for our duration of our stay. Over priced for an out dated home and they have the hide to charge you for electricity usage on top of your over priced accommodation. They will not allow late departures. The internet is also charged as an extra. The home is not set up for the modern day world..TV and DVD player is very old..No glasses so expect to drink out of mugs. Bring your own washing powder, toilet paper, bathroom supplies, food and entrainment. Will not be staying here again!!!"
"Incredibly disappointing and the first time I've ever said that in all my years of visiting open gardens. The garden looked as if it hadn't been watered in weeks with many plants dyeing. The water features were empty (1 pond without any water and another waterfall clearly in disrepair). There was nothing inspiring about this garden at all. Such a sad garden to visit. I was really shocked it was part of the Open Garden Scheme. I could not recommend it to anyone sadly."
