"Not the best experience... the shop is crammed full of boxes of stock taking up both sides of the store including the over stocked till area. You can barely find anything or get to it either without bashing your shin on something. .. I would say it's a huge health and safety nightmare... Never again"
"Really disappointed with stores response to faulty frypan lasting only 4 weeks, was burned because of the fault. Asked what I had used it for? Refused to reissue receipt even though I had gone to the trouble of being a “member”. Issued incorrect service centre phone number, service centre failed to respond to replacement. Ultimately I had to contact manufacturer directly. Very poor service House."
"Poor customer service, I bought a non stick pan, I used it the next morning and i couldn't get the egg out of the pan. The products are not good quality and expensive."
"Lost a star for the fact that they price their products well above their cost, and permanently have a 40%+ sale so you're actually paying the correct amount for their products. That said, they do stock a great and large range of quality knives for the home chef. The same can be said of their Ra he of pots & pans. They also have every kitchen tool known to man available. It's a wonderland for anyone who likes to cook, so long as you know that the $2000 8pc knife block you just bought @ 80% off, really is only worth the $400 you paid."
"Be very very wary of purchasing anything from this store or company (Global Brands), they do not have a refund policy and do not advise you at the point of sale (no signage or verbal confirmation). You can only exchange or get a credit note. The salesperson was so rude I just said give me the credit note (even though I bought the product back after 1 hour as it did not fit the purpose required) and I would follow up with their Head office. Then when I tried to follow it up with the head office (Global Brands), they told me they would get back to me...am still wating after 5 weeks! I then tried to use the "Gift Card" in their online sale (before the New Year), I did not complete the sale (ie: confirm) but because I had entered the Gift Card number, it automatically redeemed it (even through I had not confirmed the purchase). Then when I went to complete the sale on the next day, it told me my Gift Card had been redeemed - had to again deal with their head office. They finally sent me an EGift Card but the expiry date was the next day. I pointed this out to them that that is against the ACCC guidelines (3 years) and they told me it was an "error" in the system. It was a comedy of errors. Extemely dissapointed in their entire operation. No wonder Australian retail is suffering! Will never ever go back and will discourage as many people as possible to do the same..."
