About the Business
Welcome to Emma Court Family Clinic, located in the beautiful town of Woori Yallock, Australia. Our dedicated team of doctors and staff are committed to providing outstanding medical care to all general practice patients.
At Emma Court Family Clinic, we prioritize the well-being of our patients, and a seriously ill patient will always receive immediate attention. If you have an urgent concern such as chest pain or bleeding, please notify our receptionist, and we will ensure that you are seen promptly by a doctor.
We understand that your time is valuable, and we strive to minimize waiting times by encouraging appointments. However, walk-in patients will also be attended to as soon as possible, with priority given to those with appointments or emergencies. Please be aware that unforeseen circumstances may arise, such as emergencies, which could cause delays.
If you anticipate needing extra time with a doctor or if you are coming in with another family member, please inform our receptionist when making your appointment. We want to ensure that we can accommodate your needs effectively.
For those who require interpreter services, we are happy to organize this for you. Simply let us know when making your appointment, and we will make the necessary arrangements.
Emma Court Family Clinic operates as a bulk billing clinic, meaning that there are no out-of-pocket fees for most services. However, there may be fees associated with certain procedures, private forms, or consultations with allied health providers. Our reception staff will be happy to provide more information on this matter.
Our clinic is fully equipped to handle minor surgical procedures, such as the removal of skin lesions, wound repairs, and ingrown toenail treatments. We are also capable of performing more extensive procedures, including fracture care and abscess drainage. Additionally, we are experienced in managing respiratory problems and other medical conditions.
Patient registration and billing processes are fully computerized, allowing our doctors to have easy access to the patient queue from their rooms. We regularly update our programs to ensure a secure and efficient service.
For legal reasons, we can only provide results to the person concerned for patients aged 16 years or older. If your doctor has not informed you during your consultation to schedule another appointment for test results, please make sure to do so. It is important to note that even if your results are normal, further assessment and review may still be necessary, especially in cases like mammogram results for breast lumps.
We encourage our patients to be active participants in their healthcare journey. You have the freedom to choose your preferred doctor if they are available, and seeking a second opinion on any health advice given is always welcomed.
Your feedback is important to us, and we strive to continuously improve our services. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please feel free to speak with our practice manager or a doctor. We also have a suggestion box located in the waiting room for your convenience.
Thank you for choosing Emma Court Family Clinic. We are here to provide you with exceptional medical care and support.

"Very dissatisfied, on two occasions in the past two weeks they have rung two hours before scheduled appointments to re schedule for another day. First excuse was a glitch in system and there wasn't a doctor on that day although appointment was made 4 day beforehand. Second appointment was there is no nurse on to dress his foot wound for his appointment that day, appointment made a week in advance , and he redressed it last time. Not good enough care for and 80 year old man with diabetes, who requires family support to attend these appointments."
"Every appointment I book Dr Markos is at least 1 hour late. Today so far she's over an hour late n still has 2 clients to see. She asks the staff to notify patients to let them know she's running late. Then blames staff. I booked a 10am appointment thinking she can't run that late this early. But yep, yet again it's happened. I go for basic appointments sometimes n she will go back on information we have discussed eg previous history nearly every time. If she stuck to what the appointment was about she would run on time. Or if people are booking a single appointment tell them if they have a huge list (like many GPS I've dealt with) they will need to make another appointment n why that is so so people understand."
"I took my 2yr old son there to receive wound care as he had split his forehead open, he sat perfectly still while receiving treatment and on Dr markos advice I left the dressings on a week to allow it to heal. Upon checking the sight a week later I realised that the Dr had glued the steristrips length ways down the wound gluing it wide open. I will now have to seek extra scar treatment as the wound had healed open. Feeling very lucky that it didn’t get infected."
"Dr.Markos, has always been a very caring doctor, she always takes the time to listen, & then prescribe the correct medication. She goes above & beyond for all her patients, I'm so glad & thankful to have found such a great doctor."
"Been coming here for many years. From needing spinal surgery to a burn, their actions and decisions have always been in my best interest. As for those whinging about long waiting times, most people know that it's the clients that cause a clinic to run behind."
