At Grimshaw Street Medical Clinic, we are currently transitioning to mixed billing. Until 1st April 2023, bulk billing is available for patients with a valid concession/pension card and children below 16 years old. However, starting from 1st April 2023, all new patients and afterhours consultations will be privately billed. And from 1st July 2023, all patients will be privately billed.

Our dedicated team of doctors, including Dr Mahalingam Piratheepan, Dr Pui Hoong Lee, Dr Ju Min Wong, and Dr Darious Frank, provide high-quality medical care. They are supported by two registered nurses, a team of allied health professionals, and friendly reception staff.

In addition to our general medical services, we also offer specialized consultations such as insurance medicals and commercial driver assessments. Our allied health professionals include a dietician, Noela Kluchkovsky, and a physiotherapist, Jasmeet Kaur Mangat. Referrals are preferred for these services. We also have a podiatrist, Joanne Akom, available to assist with foot care.

Our comprehensive range of medical services includes general check-ups, family planning, antenatal care, pap smears, pregnancy tests, heart checks (ECG), audiometry (hearing), spirometry (breathing), counseling, vaccinations for children and travel, minor surgeries, suturing cuts, removal of lesions, cryotherapy for sunspots and warts, nutritional and diabetic advice, mental health support, skin checks, work injuries, pre-employment and life insurance medicals, diabetes management, and chronic disease management. We also offer INR, blood pressure, and blood sugar tests on weekdays, and Melbourne Pathology provides a pathology service for blood tests.
