Welcome to Korin Korin Maternal & Child Health Centre, located at 20 Champions Parade in Wollert, Australia. As an establishment focused on health and well-being, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to families in the City of Whittlesea.

Our Maternal and Child Health Service (MCH) is free and confidential for all City of Whittlesea families with children from newborn to school age. Our staff consists of Registered Nurses, who hold additional qualifications in Midwifery and Maternal and Child Health. With their expertise, our team is committed to improving the health, well-being, and safety of families, as well as the learning and development of children.

We understand that Maternal and Child Health services across Victoria are currently facing a shortage of qualified nurses, which may impact the range of consultations offered. However, our center can currently provide MCH services for infants from birth up to 12 months of age, as well as for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infants, children, and families, and all children and families with additional needs.

During this time, we also offer additional support through our Drop-In service and the MCH Line at 132 229. Our dedicated Maternal and Child Health team is here to assist you.

To schedule a key ages and stages appointment or make changes to an existing one, please request an MCH Appointment. If your enquiry is urgent and relates to an appointment within the next two working days, please call our team on 9404 8888 between 9am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We also provide the opportunity to chat with a Maternal and Child Health Nurse or Lactation Consultant regarding breastfeeding or any other feeding issues your baby may be experiencing. These sessions are available in between your child's Key Ages and Stage assessments.

At Korin Korin, we understand the challenges faced by first-time parents. That's why we offer First Time Parent Groups and Sleep and Settling programs facilitated by professionals, aimed at providing assistance and support to parents.

Furthermore, our Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) Service is an outreach program that offers additional support to families with children from birth to preschool age who may be facing challenges impacting parenting, relationships, and well-being.

We are proud to have a strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement at our center. Through our Deadly Boorais and Deadly Families Program, we actively engage with families and their children who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, providing support and encouraging their involvement in our Maternal and Child Health service.

As part of the Deadly Boorais Deadly Families program, we offer the Yarning Circle and Drop-In Session, providing further opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to connect and engage with our Maternal and Child Health Service within the City of Whittlesea.
