At our clinic, we prioritize providing our patients with a wide range of treatment options that lead to better health outcomes for both themselves and their families. As a preferred provider of a health fund, we offer exclusive benefits to our patients based on their level of cover.
One of our specialties is the manufacturing of custom foot orthotics, which are created with precision from digital foot scans and are typically available on the same day. We utilize advanced motion analysis to diagnose complex motion-related issues in the foot, ankle, knee, hip, and lower back.
Our clinic is equipped with two different types of lasers, both cold and thermal, allowing us to offer the very best treatment for each individual patient. We also specialize in diabetic foot care, as regular podiatric care plays a crucial role in preventing complications related to diabetes.
Furthermore, we are proud supporters of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and provide innovative podiatry services to NDIS participants across Australia.
In addition to our extensive range of services, we offer CAM Walkers, also known as Moon Boots, which aid in the recovery process for patients with foot, ankle, or lower leg injuries. These boots are designed to optimize recovery and achieve timely results.
We also utilize SWIFT, a medical device that emits a focused microwave signal to effectively treat warts, verrucae, and papillomas.
For doctors, we provide useful resources, including our Referral Form, to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
Advanced Podiatry Clinics Wheelers Hill is proud to have partnered with the My FootDr group, ensuring that our patients receive the same high-quality podiatry care from the friendly faces they have come to know and trust. "A couple of years back I had a very deep and resistant plantar wart successfully treated here with laser therapy. It took several sessions and wasn't cheap, but after years of ineffective treatment (which also adds up, and is far more painful) the wart has gone and I am pain free. I can't speak highly enough of the treatment and of the professional care I received."
"The treatment itself is ok but the cost on the website is hugely misleading. It says $160-180 per session but in reality it's around $280 (they add on a consultation fee for EVERY session) and says it can take up to 5 session. that's up to $1400 to get rid of 1 wart. Beware of this cost before signing up to it."
"I saw this podiatrist after many others. I had scans in front of me so he did not have to diagnose, just give his professional advice on treating. Podiatrist was interested in over charging for an extended consult on the first visit. And over charging for a scrap of padded felt. It seemed he was only interested in filling his pockets when it came time to pay the bill. After leaving the consult and realising that all of my concerns had not been addressed, ( He did not treat all conditions shown in my scan that I had produced to him ) I rang to speak to him and when I did so, and asked why he had not addressed a particular condition addressed on my scan, he almost became insulted because he realised he had missed addressing this and didn't want to answer my further questions. Further to his expensive visit, and rudeness on the following phone call, his taping methods only left me in more pain. No follow up post consult to see how I responded to his taping. Like I said, he seemed only interested in taking my money."
"$1500 on 5 x laser/swift sessions for plantar warts. No improvement. Im sure this clinic is great for many things and the podiatrist I saw was very professional and friendly. However I am devastated to have spent so much money without any improvement. I would have been happy with even 50% improvement. But no change but lots of regret! Be warned that you may spend lots of $ without results, they are not guaranteed."
"I had a large verruca on my left foot for years and had tried everything under the sun to get rid of it. In the end I had virtually given up but as a last ditch attempt I googled more advanced treatments and found laser treatments at this clinic. I had a basic treatment (this is treatment of up to three verrucas or warts) The podiatrist explained how the laser penetrates deep in to the tissue but only targets the verruca tissue and not the healthy stuff. It cuts the blood supply off. She zapped the big one three times and I’m not going to lie, it was very painful!! Like an electric shock going up your leg! The pain was quick and short lived- I recommend anyone going for this to take a coulole of high strength pain killers an hour before to take the edge off! After a day it turned black and eventually I had a blister which burst and then it just healed up. I was left with white scar tissue which I initially thought was a returning verruca but I’m glad to say (after 6 months this of filing it down) it has now totally healed up. I’m left with a very small scar which is hardly visible. I think because of all the acid treatments I’d had the scar tissue was just really deep. I only needed one treatment but many people do need two or three and they aren’t that cheap. I can honestly say I’m delighted though and highly recommend this treatment."
