Welcome to Carnegie Central Medical Clinic, located at 2 Koornang Road in Carnegie, Australia. Our institution is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community, with a focus on delivering high quality and friendly medical support to patients of all ages and their families.

At Carnegie Central Medical Clinic, the health, safety, and wellbeing of all team members, patients, contractors, and visitors are our top priorities. Therefore, we kindly request that all visitors from the age of 5 years and above wear a face mask upon entry. While we encourage you to bring your own face mask, we do have them available for purchase at reception for $1.

In order to maintain a safe environment, we kindly ask that patients with even mild cold or flu symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or loss of taste or smell refrain from entering the clinic. Instead, please call our reception team at 9572 3699 for further instructions.

For symptomatic patients, our doctors are happy to see you; however, a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) result on the day of your appointment is required. Patients with symptoms (and negative RAT) are asked to wait outside the clinic and call reception upon arrival. The doctor will be notified and will meet you, guiding you through the clinic when ready for your appointment.

We understand that in certain circumstances, telephone appointments may be necessary. However, please note that it is a Medicare requirement to have had a face-to-face appointment at our clinic within the last 12 months in order to receive a rebate.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please call our reception team and we will arrange for your doctor to call you. In this instance, a face-to-face appointment within the last 12 months is not required.

To arrange your COVID-19 vaccination booster, please contact our reception team for assistance.

Our clinic operates on the following schedule:

- Monday: 8:30am-6:00pm

- Tuesday: 8:30am-8:00pm

- Wednesday: 8:30am-8:00pm

- Thursday: 8:30am-8:00pm

- Friday: 8:30am-6:00pm

- Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm

- Sunday: 9:00am-2:00pm

Starting from Monday, August 28th, our practice fees will be increasing. However, we are pleased to announce that bulk billing will be available for some patients. This decision was made due to the rising costs of running the practice while ensuring that we can continue to provide you and your family with high quality healthcare.

We understand that some patients may face financial difficulties, which is why we will be offering bulk billing to children under 16 years, pension, healthcare, and DVA card holders from Monday to Friday. Please note that weekends will continue to be private billing only. For more information regarding our fees, please refer to our 'Fees' section.
