We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why we offer convenient appointment times. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays, we are open from 9:00am to 12:30pm, with alternate weeks extending until 3:30pm. Please note that we are closed on public holidays. However, for any urgent medical attention or advice outside of our operating hours, you can reach us through our all-hours number (03) 9499 1245. Additionally, for out-of-hours care, you can contact 13SICK or 13 74 25.

Please note that our fees will be increasing on 1 November 2022. For detailed information about our fee schedule, please visit our website. We offer different rates for private patients and those with a Health Care Card (HCC).

To make an appointment, you can call our practice at 03 9499 1245. We kindly request that you cancel your appointment at least 4 hours in advance or notify us if you are unable to attend. Failure to do so may result in a non-attendance fee of $50.00.

We strive to accommodate all our patients and encourage online bookings whenever possible. While our standard appointments are 15 minutes long, certain services such as pap smears, health assessments, skin checks, or complex concerns may require longer appointments.

At Ivanhoe Medical Clinic, we prioritize patient privacy and confidentiality. Our practitioners adhere to the AMA code of Ethics, ensuring that your medical records and consultations are kept strictly confidential.

If you require a transfer of medical records from a previous practice or doctor, please request a 'transfer of medical records' form from our reception team.

For your convenience, we have an on-site Melbourne pathology collection center that accepts walk-ins from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Our nurses can also facilitate pathology collection after this time.

If you are a work cover patient, please inform your employer before your first consultation to obtain a claim number related to your current case. We treat work cover patients with the same level of care as regular patients.

If you require a referral to a specialist, please make an appointment with one of our GPs. They will assess your situation and provide a referral letter if necessary. Please note that specialist referrals cannot be backdated.

Our communication policy ensures timely response to telephone calls and electronic communication. While we may use SMS or email to update you with general information about our practice or health services, please be advised that we do not disclose personal information over email or use this method to book or cancel appointments.
