At Mernda GP Clinic, we understand the importance of accessible healthcare. That's why we are a Bulk Billing Practice for all Standard Medicare Approved Consultations. This means that patients with Current Medicare Cards will have no out-of-pocket costs for Standard Appointments in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare. However, please note that for Commercial Driving Medical Assessments, Work Related health Checks, and some Surgical Procedures, there might be an out-of-pocket expense. We kindly ask you to check with our practice for more information on these specific cases.

Starting from 9th February 2023, Mernda Regent Street Medical and Mernda GP Clinic will be moving to Mixed Billings. While we strive to offer Bulk Billing, unfortunately, we are unable to sustain our operations with 100% Bulk Billing. However, we still offer Bulk Billing options for specific categories. Bulk Billing is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, as well as on Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, for all HCC, PEN, and DVA Card holders and children under 16, excluding public holidays. For anyone else, payment will be required at the time of consultation. Please note that appointments on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and after 5 pm will attract a fee for everyone.

To give you an idea of our fees, here are some examples:

- Standard Consult: $60 (Rebate: $39.75, Out of Pocket: $20.25)

- Long Consult: $100 (Rebate: $76.95, Out of Pocket: $23.05)

- Standard Consult (Weekend/Public Holiday): $75 (Rebate: $39.75, Out of Pocket: $35.25)

- Long Consult (Weekend/Public Holiday): $110 (Rebate: $76.95, Out of Pocket: $33.05)
