About the Business
Welcome to Lauriston Girls' School, located at 38 Huntingtower Road in Armadale, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to be a primary school and university that is dedicated to shaping future generations of strong, confident women who will become tomorrow's leaders, thinkers, and doers.
At Lauriston Girls' School, our mission is to inspire our students to become courageous lifelong learners. We strive to create an environment where ethical and compassionate young women can develop their skills to tackle new-world problems and become responsible global citizens who work collaboratively to shape their world.
We believe in the power of connection and the importance of managing both the highs and lows of life. By engaging purposefully in all aspects of school life, our students learn the value of commitment and are motivated to participate and adapt to changes in our ever-evolving world.
Courage is at the heart of our approach to managing change. We encourage our students to embrace physical, moral, and intellectual challenges and to stand up for what they believe in. Through courage, our students gain a deep understanding of their strengths and are empowered to act accordingly.
In acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the Land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, the Boonwurrung, and the Taungurung peoples of the Kulin Nations, we pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present. We recognize that their sovereignty was never ceded and honor their invaluable contributions to their communities, as they hold the memories, traditions, culture, and hopes of First Nations Peoples. We also acknowledge and respect their continuing connection to Country and culture.
At Lauriston Girls' School, we celebrate and value our diverse community. We strive to create an inclusive and accepting environment for individuals of all ages, genders, abilities, races, religions, sexualities, and cultures. Everyone is welcome and appreciated for their unique contributions.
Once again, we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, the Boonwurrung, and the Taungurung peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present. Their rich heritage and ongoing connection to Country and culture are integral parts of our school community.
Join us at Lauriston Girls' School, where we believe in building a brighter future through education, empowerment, and inclusivity.

"I had a brief experience working at this school and it's reputation is outstanding but the school was not understanding in terms of a requirement that was critical for me during the covid pandemic where I asked for support and it wasnt granted."
"Good school to send the girls there for their future in this society. Whatever they want to be."
"May I ask whether the problem of homosexuality has been resolved in your school? Have you dealt with it again? My wife had a bad memory in this school,we only hope the school can be surly take care of each students' real feeling and foud out what really going on. Make sure they really told the trueth and clearify without any misunderstanding.Thank you."
"The people are always fighting and making fun of each other. When Ms Gilchrist tries to fix this and when she tries to be “nice” it’s just scary and she really affects my mental health. Also miss Lipold gives students WAY too much work and it is very mentally draining. Also many teachers don’t comprehend the fact we have other subjects and also have homework for those subjects. All of this homework has been taking away my time with family and I haven’t been able to spend quality time with my brother in a long time. This has been deteriorating my mental health causing me to become depressed. Teachers who actually help and are very kind are Miss David and Signora Danny. (I made this comment on a fake account so I can stay anonymous.)"
"People who say it's all money obviously don't send their children here. I've seen my daughter grow and mature from this the guidance of this school. In my eyes there isn't one best school for everyone. But for my daughters it is the best school. Thank you Lauriston."
