Reviews
"My Wife that is of middle eastern decent recently visited this shop to browse some clothing items. during her visit the middle age women whom "introduced herself a stylist. harassed her and treated her like a disobedient school child. When my wife asked if an item of clothing suited her, her response was "NO BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO DARK" Absolutely appalling behaviour"
"Such beautifully crafted pieces that last forever. Been shopping here for over ten years, and the clothes I bought back then are still in such good condition. I love them and they love me back! (Amazing fabrics and all made in Melbourne too, #slowfashion!)"
"A small boutique tucked away from the busy hustle of St Kilda. Awesome clothes with such a unique edge. Great little shop."
"Whether you're an admirer of high fashion, or simply love clothes that exude warmth, Dot & Herbey bring something to the St.Kilda landscape that is typically Melbourne. It takes a certain kind of know how to continue producing clothes as beautiful as these. Anytime my wife wants something that feels as good as it looks, I find myself at D&H waiting as the amazing staff help her to try on practically everything. If you're in StKilda, don't be fooled by people who don't understand fashion, this boutique really does have a local following for a reason."
"I've have lived in this area for over 35 years and I believe that D&H came around in the early 2000's. Sadly I cannot remember what used to before before they came along (although I do remember the shoe cobbler along that strip though). It's a useless overpriced store that while sells locally made clothing I assume, it's too expensive too be truly valid etc. Also the owner of the store can sometimes be on leave in opportune moments during the day forcing shoppers to wait for her return in 5 to 10 minutes while she goes and gets a coffee etc. Forcing shoppers to go elsewhere!! If you have the kinda of money and time for these kinda of clothing, go elsewhere like South Yarra where you'll be better satisfied!!"
