Reviews
"It is egregious the care offered from this practice, specifically from Mark Bronsema who's lackluster approach to end to end patient care that has been initially laughable now has become downright dangerous. It is with great consternation the visits from my Family have been wildly mistreated and subject to medical negligence. Being the only servicing medical practice in Riddells Creek it's not unusual to find practitoners somewhat comfortable with their lack of knowledge or care, giving that the options are fairly limited. Mark firstly misdiagnosed a stroke in an oncology patient, the patient in question was not triaged or reasonably addressed beyond being sent home, basic first aid advises to FAST - this was not performed. Just some befuddled conversation, no real prognosis just erroneous guesswork. The fact when the patient presented they were not immediately triaged via the nursing team is utterly mind boggling As a practitioner Mark's first point of care is to reduce risk and mitigate harm. In the second patient suffering post viral chronic fatigue and the subsequent depression - was told to take a multivitamin. Macedon Ranges has a long and storied history of high suicide rates, some of the practitioners who practice at Riddells Creek Country Practice have even produced cited articles on this. In a situation of reasonable end to end care why is this patient needing to continually return for referals that they have to source information continually for their chronic illness rather than have any kind of reciprocal treatment. Their autonomy is gone, they are seriously unwell, and Mark shirks any and all accountability as the treating practitioner advising the patient to refer to their Mother for assistance? Abelist to assume, Mark. I've a history with the garbage treatment of Riddells Creek Country Practice, but it's my good fortune that I no longer reside in the area. It is my sick, dying, disabled and struggling family that have to endure this. And it is my constant burden to stomach the horrors of abysmal care reiterated to me from people who are simply trying to get medical assistance, which seems so inaccesible from this practice. The information reiterated has been provided with the consent of the patient(s). I'd love to see some accountability from the practice manager and head practitioner but realistically, this is in the hands of AHPRA now. Edit: It is with even greater consternation that Mark and Practice Manager Angela violated patient privacy to contact a terminally ill oncology patient threatening their care and demanding this review be removed. Deplorable small town politics at play - perhaps expend that effort working on front end triage, better first aid training and finessing a more professional and decorous response to their own patient mishaps. Do better."
"How does one review a thing that deems itself above review ???."
"Excellent"
"Always profesional and always kind."
"We have had the experience of having two elderly relatives who lived in Riddles Creek use this medical practice. The help and support they (and we) have received over the years has been exceptional. The doctors, nurses, pathology, and ancillary staff are all wonderful. I recommend them highly."
