"My dad was recently in Derwent ward and then McAlister palliative care ward. The Staff and Doctors at Ringwood Private looked after my dad with amazing dignity and care. Not only did they look after dad but they were so empathetic to us and could not have done anymore to help us. They were amazing and I have just received a beautiful hand signed card by the staff members, such a lovely touch. Thank you to all of you for everything you did for our family."

"What a chaotic and unorganised hospital with impersonal staff that bully and cajole. Im horrified what I witnessed happen to my mother there. Trying to force and bully her to take medication she didn’t want. Chaotic staff trying to change her, couldn’t figure out how to move her, wasn’t listening to her. I had to intervene numerous times. Was the most awful thing I’ve seen in a longtime. Currently trying to get mum moved. Will be making a formal complaint about the medication and bullying."

"What a fantastic team you guys have! Being my first scope I was extremely anxious but couldn’t have had a better experience thanks to your lovely staff. Andrea at reception was instantly welcoming and prompt with assisting me with forms etc. As I was brought through and checked in, Michelle was extremely kind and very thorough with the questions asked. She was more than reassuring and made extra effort to check in on me knowing I was a little bit anxious about the treatment. Once I was prepped, staff continued to check in and advise me of what was happening and kept me informed which was great. During the procedure itself, knowing I was needle-phobic, staff were outstanding in keeping me calm and occupied. I believe Jo (I apologise if this is incorrect) and another male staff member attended to me after my sedation and we had a great chat. This was very comforting considering my confusion and made me feel very at ease of my surroundings. I was then brought to the ward to recover which again, nurses were absolutely fantastic. I was checked on regularly and asked if I needed anything frequently. A special mention to Beth and Madison who looked after me and to Dr Bohra, you were all exceptional! It’s a tough industry to work in but I hope this is a reminder of the fantastic work you do on a daily basis. Will absolutely be recommending Ringwood Private in the future. Thanks again guys!"

"I recently spent 5 days in Derwent Ward and cannot speak highly enough of all the staff. The nursing staff were caring and professional. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were always pleasant and polite. there was a suture problem ( previous surgery at another hospital) and a mild chest pain incident, both of which they dealt with immediately with concern and care. The kitchen and cleaning staff were always considerate and polite. The food was delicious, sadly I did not have much of an appetite. Thank you all for making my stay as comfortable as possible. "Terrible experience at this hospital with my elderly mother. Incorrect dosages of 3 of her medications administered even after it had been discussed with nursing staff and pharmacist that dosages were incorrect.On admission we had provided a detailed list of her medications and yet they were still dispensed incorrectly. My mother needed assistance when requiring the bathroom due to her admission being the result of a fall. Mum buzzed for a nurse and it took 20 minutes before anyone would assist her. I tried to find assistance but each nurse said they would have to get her nurse to assist. We will never set foot in a Healthscope facility again."
