"I had to pick a star rating but really there is no rating for this facility. I was admitted to Brunswick Private Hospital on Tues 25 July. I waited around for 2 hours, I had a hip replacement on the 21st July. Although some of the staff were really nice and welcoming I can not say the same for Van, he is a very shady character. I was eventually shown to my room (after 2 hours of waiting for them to get it ready). Tired, frustrated and in some pain, I was not happy with the tired out old room and vetted my thoughts and frustration in no uncertain terms to Van at that point he and another female staff member where mocking me and rolling their eyes at one and other, obviously I caught them doing that and told Van there was no way I was going to stay in that facility and be humiliated by him or that non professional (female staff member!). I want to go home and asked him to get a cab, which they did. They walked me out to reception and left me there, no meds or crutches, walking frame was provided. The lovely receptionist looked after me until the cab came to take me home. Wait....it gets worse, my friend gave the facility a call after I called her to tell her what happened, she spoke with Van who outright lied to her about my meds saying he had spoken with the hospital and they were going to send my meds to me, she called Warringal Private and no such conversation took place. Next lie out of Van's mouth was, when my friend questioned how he could just let me go with no crutches etc, he claimed I was never admitted. What were all those admission papers I signed Van, upon arrival and why were you taking me to my room if I was not admitted? To the Board Members of this facility, please investigate, not good enough. I would never recommend this facility to anyone."

"I’m a family member of a patient, I really appreciate the hard work of the nurses and overall specialist in this facility. But, while I was there I witnessed a women yelling at some students at work which gave my full attention to that women. She had no professionalism nor behavior to see if it’s acceptable to yell at someone like that on the floor while on duty when there’s people surrounding her. I’m so ashamed that Brunswick hospital has such negative people who doesn’t have manners. I noted her name afterwards which was “Nadya” by asking one of the nurses. This is not a tolerable manner for a hospital basis to have such vicious behavior."

"Firstly , there's a couple of great people here. The doctors and the physios .As for nurses the one that's the least worse is the best one you'll get. I'm stuck here coz of my knee but if I could get out I'd be long gone. Food is very average and most of the time cold., can't wait to get out !!!!!"

"I came to Brunswick private the first time. I was in the mental health ward. The place was very basic for a private hospital. The rooms were very basic.The food was appauling. And it was barely Luke warm. The place was dirty the rooms were cleaned daily but it was so badly done there was hardly any point. They took well under ten minutes to clean the room and bathroom the air conditioner smelt and the common areas were filthy l wouldn't recommend this hospital to a yone. Avoid at all costs"
