"Worst motel ever. The whole experience was terrible from the beginning. Receptionist kept asking what was wrong with me (so rude) and insisted I wear their stupid bath robes like I was at a Japanese onsen except my butt was showing out the back- they don’t even have a spa or a sauna so I actually think that was super weird. Once I finally got to my room it was like that time I was abducted by aliens (but without the probing thank goodness)- constantly poking and prodding and asking “does it hurt when I do this”? Oh of course it does, I have a raging temperature and my guts feels like they are going to burst! So rude! So after the poking and prodding I think they drugged me. I got really groggy and I remember being wheeled around with these bright lights and people asking me to count down from 10. The really weird thing is when I woke up I have these tiny incisions now on my tummy but my guts don’t hurt any more. That’s really weird for sure, but not the weirdest…. They said it’s time to go home now (like it was some weird near death experience or something), they put some of my things in a plastic bag and drugged me up so I don’t feel anything or maybe make me forget the whole experience (I can’t say I really mind that and Ibis Hotels could really learn a thing or two here!) To be fair though I am still trying to figure out if it was a motel or a cult because despite all the poking, prodding and weird reception (can you believe there’s an actual queue of people wanting to stay here!!!) the hosts were actually really lovely. Even house keeping and room service were really friendly and kind (although I don’t think they will be getting a Michelin Star any time soon). So mixed emotions. As a cult or alien encounter definitely rate this as the best experience I’ve ever had so far (and I’ve had quite a few) so I’m giving five stars but I definitely rate 0 out of 10 as a motel. Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate."
"I had a Mini Stroke last week/weekend (TSI), went to Emergency & was treated professionally, with empathy & patience from the nurses, doctors, kind bed pushing nurse! And the great kind radiographer. I hate hospitals but they made my urgent visit a very calm & comfortable one. Maybe I was lucky to have a good experience, but I give credit where credit is due. Thank you to all the staff for helping me through a very stressful time."
"I would just like to say thanks to all the doctors and nurses that have made this journey of healing from a abscess on my back a very pleasant one. I'm still with hospital in the home but the experience has been very well managed and they have made me feel better over the last 2 weeks. P.S if they're any doctors/nurses that are single and wanting to date hope you'd be interested in me and if you are please respond asap."
"Visited 2/11/2022 Monash Medical Centre Clayton was my home for 5 weeks. I was admitted to the hospital due to excruciating wing-muscle pain, not knowing that I suffered from life-threatening aortic aneurysm. Thanks to all the medical specialists, theatre staff and nursing staff, I escaped death. Before and after 3 major open-heart surgeries, I received numerous CT scans, ultra sound, x-ray and ECG to ensure everything went alright. I was "pampered" medically. The CCU and ICU were well equipped, the nursing staff were well trained and most were compasionate. After 2 weeks at these units, I was transferred to a newly renovated isolation room at the end of a passageway for reasons not explained. The room was cold like a hell-hole; not only myself reckoned so, but also other nursing staff, doctor, and the ultra sound techician felt the chill. I complained to the staff, but the matter could not be resolved, as the temperature was centrally controlled. Couldn't a portable heater be supplied to overcome this problem? My biggest gripe was that I sent a personal message to the highest Board member via LinkedIn begging for help, but not responded. I "froze" for 7 days in the "morgue". After almost 3 weeks a nurse asked my when I has my last shower, and I replied I had a body wipe when I was first admitted to the hospital. I thought all all the cuts and wound, I was not to supposed to contact with water. She really blew her top, totally disguised how I was treated. She took me to the shower, and cleaned me. I felt to clean and refresh! The meals were good, varied and well presented. However, due to my condition, I did not have the appetite, and my taste buds did not function as normal to appreciate. I have ro clarify that I was in private wards within the public system. I have my money worth for all my years of contribution to health insurance."
