About the Business
Welcome to Bemin Secondary College Junior Campus, a brand new school located in Truganina, Victoria, within the City of Wyndham. As an establishment and point of interest, our school aims to provide a high-quality education to the growing local population, right in their own community.
Scheduled to open in Term 1 of 2024, our junior campus will initially cater to up to 600 junior students. Conveniently situated at 30 Everton Road, our campus will also house Warreen Primary School and kindergarten, making it a vibrant educational hub for families in the area.
With a commitment to excellence, our senior campus, located at 805 Morris Road, will be able to accommodate up to 800 senior students once the first stage of construction is complete. This ensures that students can continue their education seamlessly within the same institution.
In its inaugural year, Bemin Secondary College will welcome Year 7 students to the junior campus and Year 10 students to the senior campus. As the years progress, the school will gradually expand to include all year levels. To determine if you reside within our school zone, please visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au.

We are proud to announce that Bemin Secondary College has received government funding for its construction. In the 2021-22 State Budget, our school was allocated a share of $491.565 million for new schools construction. Additionally, in the 2022-23 State Budget, we received $41.178 million for the next stage of construction, demonstrating our commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities for our students.
The name "Bemin" was chosen following a two-week community consultation, and it holds special significance as it is derived from the Bunurong word for ringtail possum. This reflects our dedication to honoring the local culture and heritage.
Leading our institution is Principal Joanne Camozzato, a highly experienced educator with over 25 years of experience in the Victorian education system. Joanne's expertise lies in student wellbeing and engagement, as well as teaching and learning, ensuring that students at Bemin Secondary College receive the best possible education.
At Bemin Secondary College, students will enjoy modern learning areas equipped with air conditioning and heating for their comfort. We have also prioritized environmental sustainability in our design, creating campuses that are both eco-friendly and easy to manage.
Throughout the planning and design process, we have collaborated closely with the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation to ensure that our school aligns with the values and traditions of the local Traditional Owners.
To get a better understanding of our campus layout, please refer to the indicative site plan on our webpage. This plan showcases the two schools and kindergarten located on the same site in Truganina. It highlights the various buildings, roads, and play spaces that will be available to students.
As we move forward, there are future stages of development that are subject to further funding. These include additional facilities and amenities that will enhance the learning experience for our students.
We are excited to embark on this educational journey with the Truganina community and look forward to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. Join us at Bemin Secondary College Junior Campus and be a part of our commitment to excellence in education.
