However, our Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre will remain open, providing a convenient and eco-friendly solution for waste disposal.
In addition to our commitment to the environment, The Nook is also dedicated to community engagement. We value the opinions and input of our visitors, and we are constantly seeking feedback on various projects and initiatives. Currently, we are planning improvements for Turnberry Drive Reserve in Sunbury and Strathconnon Square Reserve in Tullamarine. "Wonderful place to go for a walk on a sunny warm day. Suburb Greenery, calming sound of water, and relaxing wing can just make your day better. People are friendly so don't forget to say hello and Pat the dog. You can bring your own picnic mat and a book or even food and enjoy the day out. The place also has easy access and lot of parking."
"Wonderful place to relax. Peppercorn tree branches are perfect for climbing onto and reading a book, while ducks hurry about beneath you, and water bubbles over the stones of the creek. A great escape from the claustrophobic nature of Melbourne (at least in the eyes of a person raised in the country)."

"Lovely place to walk the dog, great walking tracks and nice community feel. There's a few different trails that you can meander along or if you just want to sit by the water watching the ducks and geese, it's extremely relaxing. The walk up the back takes you to Goonawarra if you're up for a steep walk up the hill, or around the back towards Rupertswood for something a little flatter."
