"My mother and I were made to wait in the waiting room for 40 minutes once checking in for a scheduled appointment. While I understand appointment wait times can be expected at any medical centre, it was unusual when around 10 patients who came in AFTER us were seen BEFORE us. Confused, I asked reception to double check my appointment; it was only then when I approached reception staff, that my mother was seen for her appointment. Feeling frustrated, I asked reception why this was the case—staff could not properly explain why my mother was made to wait so much longer than many other patients. It appears her appointment was forgotten about or miscommunicated to radiologists. Either way, no apology was given, only a nonsensical explanation."
"Very disappointed. Once upon a time, capital radiology we're fantastic, now, on several occasions they haven't been able to accommodate. You ring to make an appointment and you're on hold for 20 mins or more, only to be told they cannot make an appointment for a week in advance, not acceptable at all. The message on hold still mentions they are busy because of the pandemic, this is going to be the story of our lives, always using covid as an excuse. Capital radiology get your act together."
