"The food is delicious. Depending on the occasion, if you come in the evening, you may not be able to get a seat but can only buy and take away. Our family usually chooses the only menu which is serving number 15 per person. Prices have gone up, averaging $2 per year for the dish. The same serving of number 15 was about $17.99 about 5 years ago. Currently June 2023 is $ 26.99. In previous years, you will get free boxes of leftovers, free tea. This gradually translates to only free for the first cup of tea, after which you need to pay for the 2nd cup onwards. Now the take away box and tea will be charged. Prices are updated on the restaurant's website. Also, they have a new restaurant owner, possibly the next generation of heirs because the food is still very good. The moment they transferred the manager/cook I felt the food was a little different. Maybe it's because I wasn't used to seeing the beautiful landlady there anymore. As of now for the last meal, everything seems to be great again. Good luck with the shop. Although we are only customers who eat here a few times a year . We are still very grateful for the delicious feeling that your restaurant brings."
"Generous portions. Reasonable prices $20-25 per menu item. Afghan food but many Arabian like items (grilled kebab and mandi). All items come with salad and huge Afghani bread. Fast service. Large dine-in room."
"It is a fine restaurant in Blacktown. Specially serving halal and Afghan dishes. Maintain hygiene and proper serving. Value to money and good seating spaces. Highly recommended. Thanks to my friend he always hugs me treat T this restaurant . It would be so nice if they can j crease your hurt quantity."
"Beautifully cooked rice with full flavour. Lamb shank is cooked nicely, soft and falling off the bone. Bread is fluffy and gigantic. Mantos taste authentic. Yoghurt drink was surprisingly savoury not sweet. Was a quiet time during Sat lunch with lots of seating space."
"Great food, the bread is wonderfully fluffy with a tantalising crisp. Had the lamb with rice and salad, the lamb was very tender with the taste of charcoal. I think it'd be better to have had bread with lamb, as the rice is decent with pops of currants but just not as special as the bread. Partner had the lamb shank which which hidden under a mound of rice. Portions are huge. Order at the counter. Definitely worth coming back to."
