"Rachel who has blue hair has an amazing vibe and piercing skills. I pierced my ear lobe and helix all within 2 days back to back and I felt no pain. I also called in for after care advise and she advised straight away. Glad to have found Off Ya Tree!"
"Get your piercing done here at a risk. In the beginning of this year, my friend visited the Oxford St location to get a third lobe piercing on her left ear. She had paid extra money for the titanium earring as she knew she reacted badly to sterling silver earrings. However, due to the piercer's negligence, she was pierced with a sterling silver earring instead (even though my friend repeatedly asked the piercer to check that it was the titanium earring). When she asked the piercer to show the packaging or something which can confirm that she used the titanium earring (not the sterling silver earring which was also in the room due to another friend getting that), the piercer became very confrontational and started raising her voice to tell her to leave. This was irrational as my friend never yelled at the piercer once and is not confrontational. She went back a month after she got her ears pierced as it was not recovering like her other four piercings and wanted to get it checked out. The piercer simply went "yep it's irritated" and did not offer any assistance. Fast forward 6 months, my friend kept getting reactions from the piercing and finally found the time to get off work and uni to get it checked out at a difference piercer in Chatswood. Turns out, she was in fact pierced with a sterling silver earring, the earring size was too long, and the piercing was a little crooked, which caused further irritation. [This is the short summary of what happened. There were other things which also occurred.] Not only did this place not give my friend the piercing she paid extra for, they treated her extremely unprofessionally and turned her away even when she asked for help. The piercer was also very rude. Additionally, my friend had tried to email the Off Ya Tree contact email but there has been no reply. I have stepped in to help her write a negative review as she doesn't like public confrontation. This is a serious case of negligence, which people need to be aware before they visit this place."
"nice staff but not the best place to get pierced. poor quality jewellery (two out of three of my new piercings came undone within three days which is absurd). the prices are enticing but its better to just pay extra and go somewhere go more reputable"
"I got an Industrial done here and let me tell you, I flew for a combined 49 hours after getting my piercing done and it did not hurt or move at all. The fine folks at Off Ya Tree will set you up for success. They explained everything to me from proper cleaning aftercare, positioning, anatomy problems, even different hazards to look out for when healing (hugs, aggressive hugs will get you). Marina (I hope that's how you spell it) was my piercer who told jokes the whole time she was sticking a needle in my ear. Now THAT'S how to keep someone calm. The whole process took maybe ten minutes and hurt as much as a vampire gnawing on my ear, obnoxious but not painstaking. She was efficient, precise, and totally skilled. I'm a week into healing and my friends comment on how well done it looks and how well it's healed already. Large high fives to everyone! 10/10 staff 10/10 experience"
"Just got my nose pierced by Hannah, she was perfect! Couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable and was so knowledgeable and supportive throughout the whole process. The other staff members were extremely helpful and friendly when I needed new ear studs last week. Great vibe in their store. Would recommend for anyone looking for quality, professionalism and customer care."
