Welcome to Strong Centred, a supportive institution located in Bunyip, Petty Road. At Strong Centred, we believe in providing a space where individuals can build strength, develop self-awareness, and practice mindfulness.
Our institution offers accessible yoga classes for all experience levels. Our classes focus on slow, controlled movements, allowing you to move into each pose and adjust to your body's needs. We incorporate meditation and breath work into our yoga practice to support mind-body awareness and connection. Additionally, our classes include variations and adjustments to ensure that every student can reach their potential and get the most out of their practice.
In addition to yoga, we also offer Pilates classes designed to improve physical strength, tone, flexibility, and posture. Although our classes consist of low-impact exercises, they have a high impact on your overall strength, tone, and flexibility. Some classes may incorporate the use of props to support and enhance your practice. Whether you're sitting or lying on the mat, you will definitely feel the effects of the workout.
For those looking for a fun and challenging fitness class, our Fun Fitness classes are perfect for you. These classes focus on building whole-body strength and tone in a small group, studio environment. Each class incorporates the use of dumbbells, bands, and balls, and includes a variety of exercises to strengthen and support every part of your body. Suitable for moderate levels of fitness, or simply for those looking to have some fun!
At Strong Centred, we also offer classes to teach you how to meditate, guiding and supporting you along the way. Our classes include instruction on various types of meditation, allowing you to find one that suits your way of thinking and functioning. Each class concludes with a beautiful guided meditation, leaving you feeling calm and super relaxed.
As a teacher at Strong Centred, I am passionate about helping my students build strength and develop self-awareness. My teaching style is clear and inclusive, ensuring that all students can practice within their abilities while challenging themselves to reduce self-limiting boundaries and achieve their personal goals. With training in Yoga, Classical Pilates, and Meditation, I believe that practices incorporating breath control, body movement, and mindfulness help to develop strength and flexibility, bring harmony to the body and mind, and provide a healthy sense of perspective.
