Welcome to Phoenix Dance Company, one of the longest standing dance studios in Ravenhall and Bacchus Marsh, Australia. At Phoenix Dance Company, we believe examinations are an essential part of dance education, providing students with goals to work towards and qualifications to achieve. We offer the British Ballet Organisation (BBO) syllabus in Ballet and Tap, taught by fully qualified teachers. Our examination students also have the opportunity to participate in the BBO Dance Days intensive in Sydney, led by examiners and teachers from around the world.

During the lockdown, we took the opportunity to revise our timetable, creating a schedule that maximizes convenience for our students and their families. We now offer classes in all genres on one night, with additional classes such as Exam Classes, Technique Classes, and Competition Troupes on a second night. This means that whether you dance for fun or aspire to exams and competitions, you'll only need to attend classes on a maximum of two nights per week.

The safety of our students, families, and staff is our top priority. All our staff and teachers are fully vaccinated, and we have implemented strict COVID safety measures, including social distancing stickers and vaccine certificate requirements for those aged 18 and above.

We offer a wide range of dance styles, including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Jazz Technique, Ballet Technique, and Private Vocal lessons. Our class days at Ravenhall are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Enrollment into a Ballet class automatically makes students eligible to work towards their Ballet exam. For students aged 8 and above, enrollment in the appropriate ballet exam syllabus class and a Ballet Technique class is necessary to sit for their ballet exam.

We also have various dance teams, including U8 (Team Minis), U10/U12 (Team Mighties), and U15/OA (Team Majors), for students who are invited to join based on their enrollment in Jazz, Jazz Technique, Ballet, Ballet Technique, and Lyrical classes.

To ensure personalized attention, our class sizes are capped. Once we reach the maximum capacity, our parent portal on Dance Studio Pro (DSP) will automatically close off enrollments. However, a waitlist will be available in case any spots open up. We highly recommend enrolling in your preferred classes as soon as possible to secure your child's place.
