Through his unique and specific quality-focused program, as well as individualized planning, Yu has successfully guided numerous swimmers on their journey to success.

Yu is a certified Advanced Coach from Swimming Australia, ensuring that his coaching methods are in line with the highest standards of the sport. Additionally, he is also a strength, conditioning, and nutrition specialist, bringing a holistic approach to training and diet for every client. This comprehensive approach sets us apart from other swimming academies, as we prioritize the overall well-being and development of our swimmers.

Not only does Yu possess extensive coaching experience, but he has also worked in the higher education industry, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. His expertise has been honed through years of practice, including serving as the head coach for various swimming teams in Shanghai, such as the Shanghai Sports Institute and Hongkou Youth Sports School. He has also been a coach for the Shanghai Swim Team. Yu is particularly skilled at identifying and nurturing the potential of young athletes, utilizing scientific training methods to achieve the best results. Furthermore, he excels in enhancing the competitive performance and training details of elite swimmers.

Since 2010, Yu has been the head coach for three different swimming clubs in Australia, further solidifying his reputation as a highly sought-after coach. Under his guidance, athletes ranging from state-level competitors to members of the Australian relay team for the 2016 Olympics, such as Jacob Hansford, have achieved remarkable success. Many of the swimmers under Yu's tutelage have been selected for state-level training camps, and have even secured top positions in prestigious competitions such as the NSW and VIC State Championships.
