Fioretto Fencing Club

Welcome to Fioretto Fencing Club, located in Oakleigh East, Australia! As an establishment that focuses on health and is a point of interest in the area, we are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for beginners of all age groups to join our club until the end of term 3 in September 2023.

At Fioretto, we pride ourselves on creating a safe and friendly environment for individuals to learn and excel in the sport of fencing. We understand the importance of accommodating different schedules, which is why we offer a women's fencing group every Wednesday morning. Whether you're looking to try out a new sport during your time off work or while the kids are at school, our women's group provides the perfect opportunity to get involved.

In addition to our regular programs, we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with the Home Education Network (HEN) to offer beginner's programs to groups of home-schooled kids. This program, now in its second year, has been incredibly popular and has allowed us to introduce fencing to a wider range of young individuals.

We would also like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of Lidor Shay, who recently secured the National Veteran Women's Foil 2021 Championship title. This marks her third consecutive championship win, a remarkable feat that showcases her dedication and skill in the sport. Despite the challenges posed by COVID and training interruptions, Lidor's passion and competitive spirit have continued to shine through. We are immensely proud of her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck in 2022.

As our club continues to grow and thrive, we encourage interested individuals to join us as soon as possible, as places are filling up quickly. Our recruitment policy will be reviewed at the end of the year for 2024, taking into account membership numbers across all age groups.
