Ceberano Martial Arts Academy, also known as CMAA, is a renowned institution that offers karate classes for both adults and children in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With three dojos spread across Canterbury, Eltham, and Hawthorn, we provide convenient access to our classes for residents in the area.

Under the guidance of Kyoshi Paul Ceberano, a highly experienced instructor with over 40 years of teaching and training experience, CMAA offers a comprehensive and enriching karate curriculum. Teaching karate is not just a profession for Kyoshi Paul Ceberano, but a true passion and way of life.

Our classes are held from Monday to Thursday, as well as Saturday mornings, accommodating the schedules of both children and adults. We offer a range of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that everyone can find a suitable program. From novice to advanced levels, our classes provide a progressive and challenging environment for growth and development.

On Mondays and Thursdays, our schedule includes classes for various age groups, starting from 4.30 pm with the Novice class for 6-8-year-olds, followed by the Intermediate class for 6-10-year-olds at 5.15 pm. The Advanced Junior class for 8-12-year-olds takes place at 6.00 pm, and our Beginner & Advanced Senior class starts at 7.30 pm.

Saturday mornings offer a unique opportunity for families to train together. The Novice/Intermediate class runs from 9:30 am to 10:15 am, followed by the Older Intermediate class from 10:15 am to 11:00 am. The Advanced Juniors and Adults class takes place from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we have additional classes catering to younger age groups. The Ninja class for 4-6-year-olds runs from 3:45 pm to 4:15 pm, followed by the Novice class for 6-8-year-olds from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm. The Intermediate class for 6-10-year-olds is held from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm, and the Advanced Junior class for 8-12-year-olds from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm.

We are proud to have our dojos located in Canterbury, Eltham, and Hawthorn. Our Hawthorn location is conveniently situated near the Hawthorn Library, making it easily accessible for those in the area. Additionally, our Canterbury dojo is located at the Canterbury Baptist Church on 1 Balwyn Road, and our Eltham dojo is situated at Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church on 79-81 Pitt Street.
