Welcome to the Brian Nolan Academy of Dance, located in Werribee, Australia. Founded in 1983 by former Australian Ballet Company dancer Brian Nolan, our academy is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary and is the oldest dancing school in the Wyndham area.

With a strong focus on both ballet and theatrical dance, the Brian Nolan Academy of Dance has established itself as one of the leading dance schools not only in the western suburbs but also in the entire state of Victoria. Brian Nolan, a twice Chairperson for the Royal Academy of Dance - Victorian and Tasmanian Advisory Panel, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our institution, enriching our students with the culture and disciplines of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Our academy has a proven track record of excellence, with our RAD examination studio consistently producing scholarship winners, including recipients of the prestigious Audrey Nicholls and Kathleen Gorham Scholarships, as well as winners of the Dame Margot Fonteyn RAD International Ballet Competition Silver Medal.

In addition to our success in examinations, the Brian Nolan Academy of Dance has an impressive history in Eisteddfods and competitions, both locally and internationally. Our students have achieved numerous victories, including two winners of the City of Sydney McDonald's $12,000 Scholarship and recipients of SODA Scholarships. Our academy boasts champions in various genres, showcasing the versatility and talent of our students.

Renowned for producing high-quality ballet dancers, Brian Nolan is recognized worldwide for his ability to train and coach students who are willing to travel long distances for the best possible training. Some of our successful alumni include Australian Ballet Principal Adam Bull, Senior Artist Valerie Tereshchenko, Soloists Laura Tong and Rani Luther, among many others.

At the Brian Nolan Academy of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes, including Classical Ballet (RAD) and Vaganova based Open Classes, stretching and conditioning, Pointe, Repertoire, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, as well as singing and drama. Our students benefit from a strong ballet technique that enhances their jazz and contemporary abilities, making them well-rounded dancers. Selected students have the opportunity to participate in competition classes and private lessons.
